Anyone else recognise Taudarian on MovieChat?

I've found him!

Wasn't it Tardarian? [winkgrin]

reply

Indeed... with a capital T, A, R, and D.

I always suspected he was just trolling the haters by saying ludicrous stuff and watching them go along with it.

reply

DART?

He was quicker than you and so perhaps you are right Spanners.

I mean, you know the huge gaping flaws in his famous "Prometheus, the movie they say makes sense" topic, right? Luckily a copy is still right here.

The levels of inanity are mind-boggling, but the greatest part is when Tardarian referenced perhaps the only scientific "fact" about the real world, and got it so insanely wrong that it's hard to believe it was a sincere topic.

He literally, LITERALLY, did not know the difference between night and day. His completely ass-backward statement about planetary night and day was possibly one of the stupidest things I have ever read in my life.

It's stunning, and what's more stunning is how the haters just went along with everything he wrote... Most likely because they didn't even read it.... And if they did, they did not activate their brains.

If, that is, their brains were even able to be activated.

It's one of those points where it becomes fully justified to refer to all of you in the "Broken Record Squad" (was it squad?) as idiots. Nitpicking the fictional science of a movie and yet allowing yourselves to go along with someone who LITERALLY doesn't comprehend what causes night to be cooler than day, who doesn't know anything about orbits, and who also didn't seem capable of using Google to educate himself.

That screed of his was perfect because it's a stunning indictment of the mental capacity of all you haters who went along with Tardarian and blindly agreed with anything negative he had to say.

I just can't help but repeat it: You were ALL idiots. Flat-out, no-holds-barred, idiots. Probably still are, considering you're still trying to relive your illusory glory days.

Nice.

And so which part of a moon having centrifugal rotation whilst orbiting a gas giant was it that you feel was the zinger?
