Why don't muslim males vote to make polygyny illegal?

Most all the fighting in the middle east is caused by muslim males who have no chance of coupling with a woman because of polygyny. If mulsim males voted to make polygyny illegal in their countries then this would cause all the polygynous oil sheiks to be put in prison and lose all their possessions including their vast oil wealth. Why don't muslim males vote to make polygyny illegal?
