To have an end of the year episode without the ENTIRE cast is so disrespectful. Aubrey Emmons, Sarah Hyland & Ariel Winter all shut out. Also, it was called SNOW BALL but in no way was a it a Christmas episode. I was also hoping Ariel Winter would finally get a full season because while Hyland, Nolan Gould & Rico Rodriguez have, Ariel Winter has never had a season where she was in every episode. 0nly way I got to see Sarah Hyland on anything last night was her as guest host of LIP SYNC BATTLE for the Shorties special with kids instead of stars. Another thing, If the child actors can't get in every episode, then the adults should have to have time off. After all this time, never has there been a parentless episode and just the kids. I think that would be THE event for this show. Sofia Vergara, Ed 0'Neil, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet & Julie Bowen all sit out 1 episode and it's strictly Hyland, Winter, Gould, Rodriguez, Emmons & Jeremy Maguire.

It used to be on TV that every episode was just another episode. Then the series finale had to be some huge event that "wrapped up" everything. Then all the season finales had to be some big event/cliffhanger.

Now you want the episode that just happens to air near the end of the calendar year to be something special?

WE GOT MOVIE SIIIIIGN!

I'm just curious why a LA high school even has a snow themed dance.

Why would schools in the Northeast have tropical themed dances? Or a school in Florida have an Italian themed dance? What would be weird is an LA school having an LA themed dance.

So, schools are only supposed to have themed dances reflecting their local geography and climate? Should we also not have Christmas cards in Los Angeles that have snow scenes on them?
