How many times has FOX screwed you?

I've had many shows on Fox that I loved only to be taken away.

Tru Calling
Dollhouse
Kitchen Confidential
Drive
Firefly
Human Target

Its understandable Spike is strong and mysterious and sort of compact but well muscled

The main ones I bitch about were only one seasoners. It would have been cool if they had been given at least a second season.

Roar
Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
Freaky Links
Keen Eddie

But it does lead to one of my favorite quotes:

Peter: Well unfortuantely Lois, there's just no more room on the schedule. We just gotta accept the fact that FOX has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80's Show, Wonder Falls, Fast Lane, Andy Richter Controls The Universe, Skin, Girl's Club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda At Large, Costello, The Lone Gunman, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric The Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, And Greg The Bunny....

Of that bunch, I would vastly have preferred about a third of them be revived rather than Family Guy. And the other 2/3 is mostly because I don't really know anything about them.

24!!!! Enough said..They should have kept that show going forever. the best show ever to hit television.

8 seasons is quite good! Certainly doesn't break records when competing with MASH & the Law & Order series, plus every SOAP opera known to man, but that's a sweet record.

Brisco County Jr.
Millenium
Firefly
John Doe
Human Target

I HATE FOX!!

The correct answer is "every time..."

"Excuse me! I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up."

All of the above plus King of the Hill
and Alcatraz, I wanted to know what the heck was going on.

reply

Alcatraz' finale was great, and opened up so many questions and mysteries, and left on such a cliffhanger. This crap is really getting old...

Really? No one weeps for The Chicago Code?

I rarely watch live tv, in fact I stopped a decade ago but I was forced to watch a few because I liked them so much but I should know better.. I mostly watch after its finished or canceled.. Like this one I just started watching.. But my heart is not in it, frankly I dont even care.. I know it takes out a lot of the enjoyment from it but why put so much into something that leaves you hanging. It seems most shows I like would end up being canceled.. Ones I think are krap gets 10 seasons.. I have changed my life so TV is not a major part of it. I watch it but not like i need it or miss it. When more and more people get like me they are going to find that huge number of viewers have other hobbies and dont need TV. I refuse to watch garbage. And that I do watch, I expect to get closure.. Heck shoot an extra episode just in case its not renewed and air it. If they are going to treat viewers like just a statistic the well, I am not a statistic to them any longer now..

They don't cancel it to piss you of lol, the audience is not big enough probably.
