saw it in Toronto Canada matinee showing and it was $15.75 cdn and with our dollar so damn strong, it was like $20 US. My 3 yr old child set me back $11.99 cdn. We get free glasses with this but we have to recycle them after the movie. Expensive!
shareMI $10.50 for the matinee woulda been $13 normal time. I prebuy my tix so I only have to pay upgrades later, plus I get discounted gift cards on ebay. My husband loves the movies and that way I don't have to worry about coming up with the money when the time comes.

^but where do you live that it costs so low ? By now after reading through these threads I have come to realize the theatre I saw it at is dead center in a highly tourist center of NYC and takes advantage of their pricing.

In Indianapolis, I can see 2D for $5 before 6p.m. weekdays and before noon on weekends...$3 more for 3D. BTW on pricing for 3D, isn't this more because of the cost of the equipment to show it? Doesn't it cost the theater more to show it in 3D?

Not neccessarily. I saw this in downtown Indianapolis for $11. It was a 3D showing at 2:30 PM on opening day. You must've gone to AMC 12 on the east side to have seen it that cheap.

I paid $7.75 for a 2D showing. It would of cost $11.50 for a 3D showing but I skipped the 3D this time because I had to but a ticket for my friend too.
