Her boyfriend wins 'douchebag of the year' award.

He didnt feel the need to let her know some ghosts may be shacking up with them in their new house? Or how about the fact that his last girlfriend who he was together with, but not like "them" (what kind of line is that?) was transported through a wall and never seen or heard from again? And what did they tell the police? Or her family? And what happened to the other guy who was part of the seance? Her boyfriend has too many secrets.

My Super(natural) ex-girlfriend.

then she wins b1tch of the year. She acted like he was some depraved murder who hid his crimes. He was just a college kid who did an experiment that went wrong, and as far as he knew was over. It was Malfoy continuing the experiment that led to the events of the house, my understanding was it had been years since anything had happened. When it first happened he could have been unsure, and by that time it was too late anyway. Quite frankly her action through the whole movie were irrational, so at first she wants to leave the house, then she kicks him out and starts investigating with the thermal like ghost hunters. I think she was far worse than he was.

reply

The whole movie was a disaster. It was unclear how long it was from when the first accident happened, and for all we know it could of been six months later....and yes she was
Completely annoying throughout the entire movie. I was glad the ghosts got her.

reply

yay, let's talk about a joke of a movie.

She overreacted, definitely, but OTOH all this stuff that he hid from her was much more shocking than a run-of-the-mill relationship gone bad. It'd be a normal reaction to be horrified that her SO was part of an experiment where a previous love interest of his has vanished for some inexplicable reason . . . and it'd be normal for her to be suspicious that he has never even mentioned this girl before.
He had good intentions for keeping all of this a secret, but but she was reacting more against the situation than she was against him.

reply

Most people don't tell their partners all about their previous relationships.

reply

Exactly, his past relationships, which girl went through which wall, is frankly none of her damn business..

reply

Sure. I would definitely keep that most awesome piece of info a secret. Hell no. I dont think I could keep it a secret and why the heck would anyone?

reply

I got the feeling he was setting her up so she could be the test subject of the experiment.

reply

He didn't tell her because the whole experiment was based on belief. The fact that they believed in ghost plus the amplifier, is the reason why they were successful. So he doesn't tell her in hopes that she won't believe and it won't manifest itself to her. Get it?

reply

What in this movie said "you're safe as long as you don't believe?"

The movie tagline said that, but nothing in the movie made it clear that was the case.

reply

really? because i thought she was won worst girlfriend of the year award.

She kicks him out of THEIR house...cause btw im pretty sure he helped her pay for it...as i know she cant afford that on a vets salary

then at the hotel...she made him sleep on the couch.

I would never do that to my boyfriend. Infact when we have our small fights and we go to bed angry he still sleeps in the same bed with me.

Also he didnt tell her because he didnt want her to believe

read the tag line

Once you believe....you DIE

all in all...it was a horriblem movie. I think she was just angry cause he didnt tell her about his previous relationship with a girl that was slightly cuter than her.

reply

The house belonged to her parents, who had bought it as an investment property.

reply

but they were paying rent. As stated earlier in the movie

reply

Director and producers of this film win douchebag of the year, actually.

"It doesn't matter what Bram Stoker has told you... dead people don't come back from their graves"

reply

You are nuts. He didn't tell her about something that doesn't concern her from his past in order to keep HER safe. And she reacts by being a holy bitch and kicks them out of THEIR house. If anything, she's just a spoiled twat.

reply

He saves her ass and then she makes him sleep on the couch. In the hotel room that HE probably paid for. What a selfish little bitch. I hate people like her.

reply

Considering what was happening, I'd say it definitely did concern her.

"And she reacts by being a holy bitch and kicks them out of THEIR house"

What I found ridiculous was that there's all this crazy $hite going on in the house and she thinks it's a good idea to kick her bf out and then STAY THERE BY HERSELF??? Genius.

Why doesn't *she* leave? Go cry on her mum's shoulder or something?

This has to be one of the worst films I've ever seen. It wasn't even so bad that it was good/funny. It was nonsensical, the dialogue was atrocious but worst of all, it was boring.

I didn't care about these people, and that scary thing wasn't scary.

This film was just an excuse to have a pretty girl run around in knickers that barely covered her ar$e in a pathetic attempt to distract the male half of the audience from the rest of the tripe in this movie.

She was an awful character. I couldn't stand her! Selfi-centered , vapid and super annoying! I can't even call her a bitch because she's not interesting enough to be a bitch she's just lame. She goes snooping in his private stuff and then gets all pissed off about what she find. Guess what he had a life before he met you.

No Louis, you're mistaken. It's not me.

reply

The character was badly written. The dialogue had me cringeing.

And the biggest mistake this character made is that, even though she works at a vet's office and therefore should have some knowledge that giving pets as a gift is a bad idea, she brings a dog to the neighbor girl without even asking the girl's father if this would be okay.

I get that the dog needed a home, but the least she could have done is called and asked the father whether they would like to take in another dog, but instead she just shows up with dog so that if the father has any problems with taking in this dog, he'd be disappointing his daughter and the dog would still not have a home.

It's too bad because I like Ashley Greene, but I think the problem's more the bad writing than her acting. How can someone act realistic when saying such hokey lines?
