So what is Driver supposed to do now?

The movie ends with Driver riding off into the sunset. The end.

But what is he supposed to do? He murdered a ton of people, including a decorated policeman (the public doesn’t know that Thornton is crooked).

That means Driver is a highly wanted man. He doesn’t have a family or girlfriend to go back to. He can’t get a job.

For this reason, I think he should’ve died at the end instead of riding off into the sunset.
