Least Favorite

Question.
Who's your least favorite of the series?

For me, my least favorite has ALWAYS been Bo and it might have to do with Anna Silk.

I've always watched the show because the supporting characters were more interesting than Bo.
Maybe it's how she was written, her being a succubus, or the acting chops of Silk, but I've never been a huge fan of Bo.

For me, every character outside of Bo is why I kept watching this show.

A tie between Dyson and Kenzie.

Dyson for sure

Say, do you hear that? It's the sound of the Reaper.....

Lauren for sure. Then bo. I LOVED Bo at the beginning but as the series went on she became pretty intolerable. Bo/Lauren was just the worst. Favs are Kenzie & Tamsin, then dyson. Then the Morrigan... she was so great. Actually most of the supporting characters were amazing.

I was mildly obsessed with this show and it was mostly because of the cast. So when I say my least favorite, it's more because of how the writers systematically dismantled the character and everything good about her, and that's Lauren. The first season she was still an unknown. Was she good or evil? Even the actress that played her didn't know for sure. But in the second season they gave her a great reason for joining the fae, as well as a plausible reason why'd she be willing to do unsavory things on their behalf: and that was to save a loved one. But by the end of season two they ruined that, then had her do nothing but lie to Bo in season three for no other reason then to eventually split them up, then pretended she had autonomy in seasons 4 and 5 but yanked it away in both seasons at the end. She had the potential, like Kenzi, to have the best character arc, starting as she did from a place that seemed secure but was in fact the most vulnerable, to being one of the most kick ass players on Team Bo. And yet, they kneecapped her with each addition to her backstory. So frustrating. And the effect spilled over on to Bo, whose character became more of a jerk as the show continued.

Mark, just for how he was an obvious Kenzi replacement, a Bo redux, and added just to give Dyson something to do. He never was really allowed to be a character in his own right. It seemed his entire purpose was to defy Dyson with every breath.
