Dexter's wasted bargaining chip

After he was arrested he could have offered Angela the location of the missing girls for his release. Would she have gone for it? I'm not sure, but you don't use a bargaining chip to get nothing in return, and we all know how badly Angela wanted to solve those missing cases and have her hunch validated (even more so than it was with her friend being found).
