A question to the Black Americans here.

I am an Aussie so I am distanced from the US and this is an honest question.

Do you get tired of the wise cracking Black guy act that so many T.V shows and movies employ? I assume its not real life stuff?

Seems like every black guy on tv has the 'oh hell no', Eddie Murphy, Will Smith type banter.

I don't know that it's as prevalent as it once was on television. There aren't many black men on tv shows in comedic roles on the major networks. Maybe it is in movies...that someone like that is the comedic relief? Kevin Hart's humor isn't really the wise-cracking type. It's more of the self-deprecating/naive (as one poster stated) variety. I have to be honest. I can't recall the last time I went to a theater to watch a comedy. If I go, it's to see an drama-indie film that isn't in many theaters. In fact, I rarely find it worthwhile going to the movies to watch a film that will be on dvd/itunes in a few months. I can pay 4.99/3.99 to see it on my computer, and by that point, I'll have had the opportunity to read reviews (good and bad) to judge whether I want to waste my money on that.

Also, this film was a mostly minority cast. It wasn't that type of film. I understand what you're getting at though, and that is certainly a big can of worms.

I guess the OP hasn't seen other movies such as

Boomerang
Coming to America
Harlem Nights
The Nutty Professor
Life
A Thousand Words
All Eddie Murphy
Are We There Yet
Roll Bounce

What about
Bill Cosby
Paul Mooney
Sinbad

TV shows
The Cosby Show and it's spinoffs
Family Ties
Girlfriends
Single Ladies

Most of them yes. Whats your point?

You obviously have not. None of that type of comedy was in Ride Along and those other films and TV shows, have you ever seen that type of comedy in Will Smith's Hitch?

You're trolling.

I'm not trying to distract from the flow of the conversation but a lot of responses to the OP including yours display a gross lack of comprehension skills. He was asking if we ever get tired of the slick fast talking black character that seems to be a token given in most of our black (and white) shows. He was NOT saying every black show has a motor mouth. Kevin Hart is a motor mouth... A back talker.. A sh!t talker if you will. And he was in this movie. So yes, it does fit into his question. Now that I have clarified his query...answer displaying comprehension. That is all. Carry on.
