Will it ever happen?

I encountered this webseries in the early 2000s. Since 2012 around there was this rumor that they would make a movie. But since then the website is downd and they had withdrawn all 13 finishesd mini episodes. I am courious if they are still working on it.
The offical release date is in January 22 so where is the trailer? Why is the site still down?
Anybody also interested to see the show as movie? Any other enthusiasts from the early 2000s who know the already released episodes?
