Good historical footage, bad prescribed opinion

This documentary is good at showing archibve footage we havent seen before, but it seems bent on painting the narrative it wants us to think despite the reality being different.

For example, the documentary states that all children who were born after the event were affected by radiation. However UN, WHO and CDC investigations some of which took decades have revealed it to be utter nonsense and found no radiation impact on the population outside of those who were used to liquidate the disaster. In fact, direct radiation deaths are smaller than evacuation-caused deaths in Fukushima.

mind you i watched maybe 10 minutes of this but the footage of the baby strollers being pushed around & them explaining the after effects was convincing enough for me, i'll have to pay more attention the next time its on Hbo

The people with baby strollers did not receive a dosage high enough to have long term effects. They were simply too far from the reactor and the reactor hadnt imploded, which is also shown later in the documentary. There was no statistically valid increase in cancer cases discovered following the event.
