I thought Dr S was going to crush SS at the box office? I wonder what the marveltards excuses will be now...lolz

can you find me a single post where someone said they thought Dr. Strange would beat suicide squad?

Good heavens.

In a world where the films were well made, a film with Batman in it would make half a billion domestic easily. Add Supes & it should be even higher.

Dr Strange is a B hero, maybe C. He has seen his book canceled more than once.

A movie with the Joker in it should be a $1 billion title WW easily.

And the DC fanboys insisted Dr Strange would fail miserably

I never said Dr S would fail miserably, I am just responding to the above post. I found more than one instance of this claim. When someone provides facts to the contrary then that someone spins those facts into excuses to refute the facts. If I am wrong then please let me know with facts.

fair enough. I prefer the MCU but I recognize that DCEU tends to do better numbers relatively speaking.

Doctor Strange didnt need to beat Suicide Squad to be considered a success for Marvel.

Both Ant-Man and Doctor Strange are C list properties much like Guardians of the Galaxy were, and they were all a success.

Im no flag waver for either camp, and yes Suicide Squad did good money inspite of the reviews, but it really should have done more.

Some of the characters in SS easily trump ANY of the characters from any of the Marvel movies ive listed for popularity and awareness, SS should really have
been sailing past a billion or getting close to it.

SS is still a financial success for Warners, but they have to be puzzled how an ensemble movie with popular DC characters is only just besting C list offerings from Marvel.

Box office sales doesn't reflect the quality of a movie. I just go to the theater to enjoy a movie that I wanted to see.
