Comedy???

I love this film, I think it's interesting and clever. But why is is categorised as a comedy? One reviewer called it 'hilarious'. There was nothing funny about this film, it's a drama, a sad one. Right?

It's certainly comical, in about the blackest way possible. The things that are humorous throughout this film are so deeply wrapped in frightening contexts that some people don't see the humor in it, which is understandable. For example, the scenes where the kids are barking like dogs were hilarious to me.

Unclassifiable really. "Halfway between horror and satire" perhaps?

Little things please little minds they say, well it certainly brought a smirk to my face when I saw that the older daughter's real name was Angeliki Papoulia. Angeliki!

Of course it's not a comedy, it's categorised as drama/thriller. It's really disturbing, but some moments when the dialogue is absolutely absurd it makes you laugh! Mind-twisting movie...
