Structures in the sea.

I have spent a lot of time in Cape May, New Jersey, and so I sometimes have dreams set in distorted versions of that resort town. And in many of them there are strange structures rising out of the sea possibly just a few hundred feet from the shoreline, structures that look like warehouses or factories perhaps.

And for some reason in most dreams they rise out of the water to the right as I look out to sea, in an area that seems to be more or less to the west of Windsor Avenue on a map, and extends much farther west than the real Cape May does.

And in the episode of NCIS: Los Angeles that aired on October 28, 2018 "Pro Se", or possibly the one before that on October 21, "Hit list" there were a couple of scenes set on beaches in the Los Angeles area, and there were strange structures in the sea, somewhat reminiscent of the structures in my dream.

NCIS is filmed in Los Angeles, and Los Angeles production tend to stay within 30 miles of Hollywood because people get paid higher if they have to travel beyond 30 miles.

After investigation, I think the structures in the sea are probably the THUMS Islands or Astronaut Islands in San Pedro Bay off Long Beach.
