U.S. release or release with English subtitles?

Will this movie be released in the U.S. and if so, when? Also, will it ever be available for download with English subtitles?

I think it depends on how good the Movie will do in Germany

Warner Home Video are releasing it in Germany on DVD/Blu-ray on March 17th 2016 according to Amazon.de but from what I can tell, this is strictly a domestic affair with no other subtitles aside from German ones.

English subtitles do exist for the theatrical release, so I am guessing an English version will be coming later in the year, especially given the fact a trans-national like Warner Home Video are behind the product.

Failing that, I imagine some kind soul will rip the German subtitles, translate it and some English 'fan-subs' will eventually emerge.

Good Bye Lenin! is one of my favourite films of the last couple of decades and I am really looking forward to seeing this... one way or another!

I downloaded Portuguese subtitles and translated them online into english, and downloaded that. The subs are very wonky but beggars can't be choosers as they say.
