Disappointing

The film doesn't work on any level. It fails as a whodunit because there is no real mystery and the final reveal is a "who cares ?" moment. And it fails as a comedy because it isn't funny.

Saoirse Ronan is usually always watchable but here she proves that she's no comedian so her performance falls flat like the rest of the film. Even the actual comedians in the cast are left floundering by the mediocre lines they are given so I suppose it's a little harsh to single out Ronan.

They tried to save the film by attempting to distract the audience with lots of "clever" camera work but alas that just became a distraction in itself.

A swing and a miss all around.
