Depp is a bad, bad actor. He was awful in this. Looks more like Ray Liotta that Bulger and Liotta should have played the part anyway. The rest of the cast was fantastic. Could have been an 8/10 but Depp drops it 5/10.

Quite on the contrary: Depp did an outstanding job portraying Whitey Bugler, plus the creepy, sinister disposition Depp instilled in the character was highly impeccable! Good for Depp!
