Based on Ray Bradbury story?

When I was a kid, I read a Weird Science comic in which the base premise is near identical - except this was a horror story. Instead of waking up due to a malfunction, the man in the story has planned to wake up early. And he proceeds to wake up each woman in the ship one by one, claiming it is due to a malfunction, and starts a relationship with each. When he's bored with them, he murders them, and wakes up the next.

It may be a coincidence, but the similarities are uncanny at times.
