The 'water' theme

I just watched this movie for the second time and noticed some things I hadn't noticed the first time around. Perhaps the most interesting of which is how often the theme of water recurs. Mommy's last name is of course Wassermann, the town she lives in is evidently named after her (and is on the water), the overflowing of the numerous bathtubs, the man drowning in the pool on the cruise ship, the dire warning that Beau should NEVER take his new drug without water! ...and then of course Beau's final attempt to escape and ultimate drowning.

Well basically he is drowning in self guilt.

That’s the description of the film in a nut shell.

This film is terrible. I am not sure how you made it through a second time hahahaha

Pssh. This was one of my favorite movies of 2023! I love movies that are essentially character studies of deeply disturbed or pathological individuals.

You should say your post has spoilers. I'm almost done watching this but didn't know the end.

Seriously? Why even read posts on here about movies prior to having watched said movies? This entire website is essentially nothing but spoilers.
