so since its actually one continuous story about bruce Wayne its TECHNICALLY not a trilogy.
unlike LOTR which actually is 3 separate stories.
One continuous story? They are both one continuous story. The Lord Of The Rings is one continuous story told in three volumes. It was originally one long story but Tolkien's publisher suggested that the story be separated, because no-one would want to try to read one HUGE book.
