Beautiful, unconventional suspense film....(Spoilers)

(Spoilers). It's actually a rather beautiful and touching film. It really outclasses the standard alien invasion fare. For starters, Lupita Nyongo is wonderful in this. She has to do quite a bit of acting and emoting through subtlties with her face, expressions and body. And what a presence she has. You can't take your eyes off her.

And the story is bitter sweet. To summarize it in just a sentence or two....the guy she befriends (Eric) saves her in a very profound way. And she saves him in an incredibly selfless and touching way.

This is a movie that definitely needs to be seen in a darkened movie house (NOT at home in your basement). This should be a shared experience with others, and on the big screen, with Dolby sound. And, it's a movie that will stay with you a while.
