What do non Indians think of Amitabh Bachchan - Meyer Wolfsheim

Being an Indian, having grown up on his movies, I regard Amitabh Bachchan as the greatest actor and superstar ever. Think of him as the Harrison Ford or Al Pacino or Clint Eastwood of India. Somebody who has delivered great performances and managed to remain a huge superstar for 40 years.

Am very curious to know what the Non-Indian audience thought of him?

Thought he had a great presence for the supporting role he had. I definitely remember him. Can see why he is such a large talent!

I think he is a fantastic actor, and he played the role well. However I don't think Meyer Wolfsheim would look like him. First of all, Amitabh is too dark and he looked too "regal" - especially with that beard. In the 1974 film, Meyer was way too subdued and phlegmatic. Meyer would look like the historical basis of his character- Arnold Rothstein. Who was clean-cut, sharp, cunning, and suave. I think Amitabh came off as too agressive because of his appearance. Meyer Wolfsheim is the guy working behind the curtains- people pay little attention to him.

Everybody complaining about him looking to Indian to play a Jew.

There are a lot of Indian Jews. Jews are not only 'white'.

He was too much of a stereotype. But that is the authors fault.
