Way too convoluted

Way too many twists upon twists upon twists, enough already.

There's a reason Terminator and Terminator 2 Judgment Day were so well received, they keep things straight to the point without adding in all this decorative plot baloney as well as keeping things realistic and gritty.

Also it's dumb how Connor's self repairing systems are so slow earlier in the film, but by the ending action packed scenes he's self-repairing in nano seconds. Why not self repair fast all the time?

I did enjoy most of Arnold's scenes though, that's some classic Terminator there, and much better than Dark Fate.
