I've only seen parts of it, and not in order, but it reminded me very much of the cinematic version of the short story The Lottery by Shirley Jackson

Everybody shut up! You're all just being stupid. This movie is what it is. Why try to compare it to things it isn't? Somebody finally made the sequel to Casablanca, and this is the result.

I started watching this on my Blackberry Curve and didn't even bother finishing, it was such a blatant rip-off of that Debra Messing film, right down to the bit where they go go-karting.
