Your most memorable scene from the movie?

I absolutely loved this movie regardless of all the haters out there pointing out all the trivial flaws. The story is beyond organ donations and why they didn't run away, it is about life and relationships.

I think for me the best part of the movie was the last scene where Cathy H says " After all we are not different from the 'normal' people . Everyone has to go through completion at some point in their life and no one ever feels they have lived enough!"

i have just watched it and the 2 scenes that i guess bothered me and stuck were the line and the quite confusion after when the head mistress said ... to see if you had souls at all... the weird thing is that after that she asked them if she they understood and i had felt that she didn't 100% believe that they did have souls.

secondly tommy's body being handled on the operation table. just brutal and inhuman. a summery of the whole film with it's humans lacking humanity.

have a good day

I thought this film was amazing. A lot of scenes stand out and I agree with most of the ones that have been posted: The two operation scenes, the last scene and the scene where tommy understands that there are no deferrals.
One seen that really really stuck in my head, and that hasn't been mentioned yet was the scene when Tommy gets out of the car and just screams his despair to the sky. That scene was so raw, I just felt his pain radiate through my body...

I haven't seen this since it first came out and Tommy screaming into the air still haunts me.

I like the whole scene when they go and try to get their delay. They don't know if it really works or even exists and you really know that the only reason they do it is because their love.

When they sit next to each other in the sofa and Tommy is showing the things he made they really trust that if someone can see in their souls they will see their real love that they have to each other. Then they get the answer that their love is not counted for. It's beautiful and horrible to see how alone they are together.

the final scene

The scene where Tommy was giving his last donation and looking at Kathy and when he was screaming outside of the car. I was crying like an idiot.

The final scene of her standing there.

I've just seen the movie for the 4th time and the moment that Tommy steps out of the car and releases his anger. I felt his yelling in every bone of my body, it was horrible.

when Tommy was receiving the anesthesia medicine to put him to sleep and he and Kathy were looking at each other, she so slightly nods, yes, and he slips off into sleep, never to wake again.

SPOILER ALERT:
The ending of this movie (when Kathy H. was narrating) was soooo sad. I cried.
Also, knowing that Kathy was going to begin her donation soon, the viewer then knows that she wont survive too long, since most donors would be dead by their 2nd or 3rd donation.
The ending was a real tear-jerker.
