This is of course just my opinion, but I would list the following season from best to worst:

I split season 5 in two because I thought the show got insanely boring after they only followed the original glee club members in New York. Very surprisingly, because I loved to follow Rachel, Kurt and Santana in New York before that. And the last season was a snoozefest to me.

Season four has always been my favorite of the series because it introduced my favorite character: Ryder. I also thought the music in seasons 4-6 was better than seasons 1-3. I really enjoyed the episodes with The New Directions v.2. I also loved the episodes set in New York City after all of the original cast graduated from McKinley High.

They all had their great moments, and actually I'd say the only one I really checked out on a bit was 5. But, in fairness, I think that season everyone involved with the show seemed to be a little checked out, which I certainly can't blame them for given the circumstances of Cory dying right before they were due to start filming again.
For me, by far the most underrated season was season 4, which over all I enjoyed very much :) The first 6 episodes were rocky, yes (and unfortunately I feel like a lot of viewers had probably decided based on those first few episodes to give up on the show by that point), but starting with Dynamic Duets onward I loved it- I loved that the new ND actually felt like genuine FRIENDS once they settled into their dynamics, I loved Finn being ND coach, I loved Blaine and Sam's friendship... it was just a really fun season
