The ending (spoiler alert!)

So he fights the lion and then basically collapses and the pride of lions attack and he blanks out, awakening in a hospital bed to be filled in by his annoying daughters.

What?!?!

Here's show it should have ended:

Fights lion
Almost dead
Pride joins in, jumping in time to prevent the death blow
Pride roughs it up pretty bad
Lion somehow injures them and they leave
Bloodied, lion moves towards scared cub

Idris moves towards injured lion, grabs it, and shoves knife into him
