One of the better efforts this year

Hallmark is rather hit or miss with their Christmas movies. This one was one of the better ones. I had my reservations as it was written by the two leads, but that seemed to pay off. There are some of the usual Hallmark tropes, but it does veer away from a lot of them.

Leads were good, no surprise, as they've been in a few of these movies together before, and if they wrote it together one can assume they are friends off screen. Supporting cast had a few Hallmark staples. Like I said, this was certainly near the top of the pack this year.
