Did this movie hurt Jack Black's career?

He didn't have a hit until about 7 years after this and I don't think you could really even say Jumanji was a hit because of him.

NO...YEAR ONE FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR HURT HIS CAREER...THIS ONE WAS JUST A PAINFUL REMINDER THAT THINGS HAD CHANGED.

Oh yeah I forgot about that one. I never saw this one, but Year One was awful.
