Schwarenegger scene

The Schwarzenegger scene wasn't funny, didn't add anything to the movie and didn't work in the context. It was like the director nudging me and saying, "Hey don't worry dude, it's just a movie." Yeah I know that, but I just like to forget sometimes and get into it. I would've cut the scene out, it could still go on the DVD as an extra.

Also, Stallone is too old to do action movies and shouldn't really appear on screen at all after all that botched plastic surgery. If he wants to direct, fine. Jason Statham still looks good, should have played the lead IMO.

Still enjoyed the movie overall, in terms of excitement and undemanding entertainment, although bringing Lundrgen back from the dead...that was kinda cheap, obviously they wanted him in the sequel.

One word about Steve Austin, I totally bought him as the hired thug, type casting but it worked, unlike Randy Couture who can't act and his only dialogue was to explain about his ear.

Anyway, wondering why Schwarzenegger was not credited at all? It makes less sense for a movie which introduces top action heroes of all times. Yes, Stallone's display corrections are a bit distracting.

Lundgren... cheap?

Being back on the big screen is the least he deserves. him and sylvester together again was the greatest thing I had seen at the cinema in years by far up till that point not that I saw Rocky IV at the movies, I was a baby at the time.

His part should have been bigger as far as I am concerned in the movie but the story line he did have was decent enough I think. I do agree with some of your other points.

Was Schwarzenneger even there? He looks like he was green screened in. That whole scene in the church is fake looking, like when there's two Van Dammes on screen together. Something they cobbled in after production already wrapped.
