BEST Celebrity Ghost Story Told So Far

Don't get into the whole "OMG its SO fake" crap. This is just about which story creeped you out the most and possibly piqued your interest in the paranormal?

Meshach Taylor from "Designing Women"

His story was when he was a kid and when he would go to bed there would be a man outside his window telling him to come outside and follow him.

Every time he told him no the man would get angrier and angrier, he even had his father run to the back to catch him but then he would disappear.

They found out there was a child rapist kidnapper who would lead kids to follow him to the river where he would drown them when he was done with them and when the town found out about it they got him and drowned him in it as well which is why he always seemed wet when he saw him outside his window.

A great thread for a great post. Hmm my favorite... tough to call. So many episodes. I really like the Roddy Piper one. It's super real. Also, the Haunting Of... episode that was made for him is awesome. Especially the twist at the end that is pretty powerful (that Piper goes down to the room and hopes he dies in his sleep).

But as far as being freaked out... hmm... the one with the actor (I forget who) whose dad bought that nice house and it had a room with a hole in the wall where the mental woman sat in the rocking chair. And his sister had gone in the room and he was looking for her. Good stuff.

I'd like to see that one on 'The Haunting of . . ."

My God that would be epic.

IIRC, there's a clip of the woman in the chair in the introduction of the show. I expected it to be one of the episodes in the first season.

Cynthia Rowley's and Linda Blair's were particularly scary to me. There was also one (can't remember the guy who told it), but he would see this man standing outside his window at night and it turned out that there had been a child molestor in the area who was killed down by a river or something near his house? The recreation scenes of it were horrifying!

I think that may have been the Lewis Black/Meshach Taylor/Samantha Harris (2012) episode. The actor was: Meshach Taylor. He died on June 28, 2014.

Wasn't the man beckoning to him to come outside? I think I remember this one.

What a day! What a lovely day!

I think I've seen every episode of these supernatural series. There have been a few celebrities that have repeated scary events. One was Fairuza Balk and Carney Wilson. I wasn't scared of Carney Wilson's but the one from the Hollywood hotel with Fairuza Balk's scared the crap out of me and was the one episode I had nightmares about a few days after I saw it. Then, when she went on to appear on The Haunting of... with Kim Russo said that she is a sensitive which was why she's had a number of issues with the departed. The other one was DB Sweeney and it was actually a ghost haunting his friend and writing partner in an old hotel on the coast of CA. Creepy and that cat was crazy.
