I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

I am kind of obsessed with this movie. I think Michael Douglas did a wonderful job! I also really enjoy Matt Damon and Rob Lowe. The sex scenes are a little funny to watch because both actors are so obviously straight- but they are still fun to see. I just really enjoy the story, the acting, the history, and the costumes! I find myself watching it a lot, especially when I've had a bad day. It is simply FABULOUS!!!!! "Too much of a good thing is wonderful" and that is how I feel about this movie. The hardships that Scott went through are not lost on me either. The good times he had were great, and the fall was hard, and that is how life often is!

I love this movie also,,its always good for a laugh,,my daughter also likes we're watching it right now,,we have some strange mother/daughter conversations while watching it,,,lol

I really enjoyed this movie and I wonder why it took me so long to see it (it's been free to amazon prime members to stream). Liberace was a shallow narcissist in this film but Matt Damon's character comes across as damaged, sad, wounded, and desperately seeking what he missed not having a father. His mother was no help and he looked for something that Liberace could never give him - real devoted love. It is a moving story about a person's foray into the world of a rich homosexual. I hate to say this but all I could think of when I saw Liberace was: he wants to be Jennifer Lopez!

I know what you mean! I just love it. Douglas and Damon are great in it. And Rob Lowe is hilarious as the cosmetic surgeon. Actually the whole movie is hilarious and yes, simply fabulous! I really don't know what it is about this movie but I feel like I can watch it whenever and it puts me in a good mood.
