Why is that the villian always has to be a cat

Can't they think of something new? You know, instead of this cats evil dogs good stereotype?

Is that something stuck from the medieval era, when cats are considered satanic? Gosh I just don't understand it. Dogs flip out and kill innocent people all the time. Never happened with cats. Yet cats are still portrayed in general culture as the evil, cape wearing shady conspiring bad guys who speak i n british/russian accent while dogs are portrayed as loyal, gung-ho, human-loving, all-american good guys.

Because in the movies, the first popular cartoon star was

"Felix the cat, The wonderful wonderful cat. Whenever he gets into a fix he reaches into his bag of tricks."

although of course, that theme song wasn't used until the 1950's version of Felix.

its because unlike dogs, cats are actually smart.

so there's no way we could see an evil dog because they dont have the brains to be an evil mastermind. :P

I agree with BouncyX. Cats are known schemers. They're all evil masterminds at heart. And, I love them. <3

"Good thing he was pretty, 'cause he sure wasn't whiz kid Floyd."

I'm currently watching 'Nine Lives' where the cat turns out to be the hero. And if you want a grumpy cat sort of hero then watch 'Grumpy Cat's Worst Ever Christmas.'
