Laura Roslin?

Just wondering why Laura Roslin was never so much as seen in the film. Anyone know?

reply

Because she was an annoying character that few people liked? Don't really know but am glad she didn't show up.

Racetrack was in... but only in the 'archival footage'. They did show the scene (or part of it) on the bridge - just after the water tanks were blown, also archival.

My guess was it had to do with contract problems between Mary McDonnell and the powers that be.

reply

lol wow, I didn't even realize she wasn't in it.

I'm guessing it had more to do with how little contact with The Prez he actually had. He only had that one scene where he prayed with her before the elections. Soon afterward, the Chief declared him to be a Cylon and he was hauled off to the brig.

The whole point of The Plan was to show Cavil's manipulations and orchestrations against the remaining survivors following the attacks on the colonies. There would be little point in showing any scene involving Roslin. The time was devoted to showing his interactions with the Cylons.

That was bizarre, all these times I've seen the Plan and I didn't even realize she was missing, and not just a bit, but throughout the entire film.
