So what did people think of it?

For everyone who has seen this film, what did they think of it?

Personally I thought it was great. It was touching, and fairly original, and not what you would expect from the zombie genre in general. Yes the effects weren't great, but for £45 they were fantastic.

My main critism (and I saw this from someone else on another board) is that some scenes are too long and have little to do with the plot progression.

I would definately recomend it, but not if you are expecting some flashy, high action film. Yes, there are some gore moments, but it isn't what I would call 'scary'.

I thought that, for what it was, it was very good, perhaps brilliant. When compared against actual, proper zombie films, it holds it's own a little but is no masterpiece. It evoked the tone of 28 Days Later, though, and actually has one of the more convincing dystopian landscapes I've seen in a horror film. It really did unnerve me. And, the scene in the house with all the zombies scared the living daylights out of me, and I don't know why. I was truly bricking it. But the beginning was slow and the ending dragged, however I am capable of overlooking this for what the film is, which is impressive on such a budget. I'd give it a solid 6 or 7 out of ten, and if I had to watch it again, I wouldn't grumble at all.

I thought it was great! Yes the house fight scene was a bit pointless but the creepy bloke that even the zombies were afraid of made up for it.

I agree! I loved it. Not greatly made and they must look back and regret certain things but still a grand effort
