I wonder how this film got made?

... a film released in 2009 but with the old cob-webbed chatty low-budget feel of a 1990s indie movie

... stuffed with fairly big name TV/film actors

... the female actresses are all willing to show skin and talk about sex, graphically

I'm about 3/4 through watching this movie (in short bursts) but I can't help but wonder how this film ever attracted this cast and funding based on the embarrassingly tired script? And a sequel, to boot?
