Canadian locations

It seems to be a given that movies like this will shoot as much as possible in Canada to keep costs down. When filming in urban areas, the "walk/don't walk" signs are a giveaway to me, because Canadian signs seem to always use hollow orange (sometimes yellow) hands and white stick figures, while the American ones are filled in. That's my observation from my limited time in Canada. Perhaps some Canadians here could confirm or refute this.
