When, or how, did the dogs go to the 'bathroom?'

I was watching this on Amazon Prime last night and they never said what the pets do (especially dogs) on a long haul 24 hour flight. Cats can use a litter box, but no mention of what dogs do. I guess they just do it on their paper or pet pads and then they get changed once they land.

I'd also be curious where was the young couple getting their money to move from London to Syndey, Australia when they didn't mention them having a job. They left out a lot of info which made this documentary rather boring. My guess is the Australian government paid them to move to Australia if they needed workers, and they recruit them from Europe, but that was never said.
