She's Only A Little Girl? Oh Come ON!

The most irritating thing about this whole movie was the curly-haired woman (who looked a bit like Lindsey Wagner) sympathising with the deranged sister, pathetically bleating to her more wary colleagues: "She's only a little girl." Oh come ON, for Gawdssakes! This so-called "little girl" was a murderous sibling, along with her equally demented brother. What was wrong with this woman? Could she not see the glaringly obvious psychopathic tendencies of this "little girl"?

Another thing that made the movie a bit unrealistic was the fact that the characters didn't really show enough fear to make them get the hell out of that place as fast as they could. I mean, why on earth did they go back to that house? In real life, even if you got the slightest feeling that you had just encountered two psycho siblings, you would run for your life.

I have just watched this movie on The Horror Channel, and regrettably, the aforementioned faults did much to detract from the enjoyment factor of this yarn.

I started watching it, then just watched it on fast forward. I did catch bits of it. "I won't watch you murder a little girl!" or something. She looked at least 18, so it was just bloody stupid!

Yeah, that was just bad writing... or casting. Let's just call the whole thing bad film making.

Do some of the people on IMDB ever really go outside? I ask this because i get ever so intrigued where people turn to arguments like "this unrealistic" and "real people would never do that". I seriously ask do a lot of you not know how damn stupid most people are?

Hell do you ever use twitter? Search for #yolo and you'd find out the truth is most teenagers aren't smart enough nowadays to survive a Friday the 13th movie. A lot of people make idiotic chocies in mundane life. If anything movies that have people be dumb and killed off are quite frankly more realistic in that way. People act stupid and nuts in real life the minute there is a threat. Do you take a look at social media after things like the Sandy Hook shooting or the Bostom Bombing? There's a **** ton of people who don't know half of what they are talking about and make asinine statements about what they would do. This is a situation that didn't really affect them personally or be near them and had a real killer. Now imagine those same people in a room with a horror movie killer. Sorry jack the average people would be a stupid as the people in movies like this.

Gamefaqs has a far worse population than IMDB

I don't think the aging woman referred to her as "little girl", but rather as a "girl." She was obviously around 15-16, which would qualify as a girl. Even if the woman DID refer to her as "little girl" it would still be accurate since she was easily around 40 (in fact, the actress was 41 during filming). And Patti (the girl) convincingly informed the woman, Angie, that she had nothing to do with the attacks and that her psycho brother was responsible. Angie believed her whereas Dominic & Eddie were seriously skeptical to the point of calling the girl a liar. So it wasn't certain at this point in the movie if Patti was an innocent girl victimized by her psycho brother or if she was in cahoots with him. Of course it is later revealed that she controlled him, but no one was sure earlier.

(1.) It was the middle of the night, (2.) they didn't know the area, (3.) they didn't actually know how many antagonists there were (yes, they knew of the two teens, but they also saw the adult woodsman at one point; they simply weren't certain how many attackers there were in total, it COULD have been 4-10, or more), (4.) they didn't have any weapons, (5.) the attackers had several weapons, like bow & arrows, knives and axes, including (5) hidden traps in the woods that already killed (or seriously wounded) two of them. So fleeing back to the cabin was the most logical place to go for immediate sanctuary while trying to escape through the woods or down the dirt road would've been suicidal, especially considering that they were in the remote wilderness with no town within miles.
