the pharmacist in the hospital is the priest from The Sopranos. That is very rare; in fact I have never of this. That an affair in two entirely unrelated shows will take place between the same character- actors. Odd casting.
I'm just starting this series. I'm on Episode 3 of Season 1 so bear with me. In fact, I just finished The Sopranos so I'm like a decade behind in my TV watching.

shareNeat. Just want to add that what Nurse Jackie is doing is the ultimate betrayal. Not only cheating but bringing him to their marital home and the whole pretending with him.
I think anybody that have desire to run behind their spouse should watch this show. It will make them think twice when they see how betraying it is.
They were both also correctional officers in OZ together...
