Hard to care.

Does anybody else find it hard to care about these people?

With everybody in the world dying, I just didn't see why I was supposed to care whether a relative drop in the bucket would survive.

Agreed.

Besides that, I didn't find any of the characters likable in the least.

I agree too. If you don't like the characters, all the CGI in the world won't help. The whole world's dying, and their attitude is: up yours Jack, our asses are way too important.

I thought they did a decent job of creating a large variety of characters, including many that were brave, selfless, and admirable.
