Variation on the Emperor's New Cloths

On a Just for Laughs comedy special, I saw a comedian make fun of this show. He said the women don't actually lose any weight and quite clearly still don't look good naked, but Gok simply tells them they look good and they believe it.

Now the hilarious thing is this feels like a variation on the Emperor's New Clothes fable. The women have been hypnotized into thinking their flabby bodies look amazing to everyone else in the final reveal and it's like a massive joke is being played on them and they don't realize it.
