as for the race thing I heard back when he first was introduced that the and i will be NICE and diplomatic and say African Americans petitioned Lucas initially to get him COMPLETELY out and had to settle for him in a lesser role instead but to DIRECTLY address it finally It was about his "pigeon" english now answer me this do you expect ALL aliens to speak OUR LANGUAGE perfectly??move to number two we have HUMANS main race/species then we have gungans,Naboo,rodians,mon cala,quarren,not to mention from time to time Trandoshian and Ithorians,Selkath and the Bardottans,the toydarians,mandalorians,duros,Quarzite,Dathomirian/zabrak,Kyuzo,weequay,felucians,theelin,Mikkans and THOSE are the ones I know or were characters I knew do you expect ALL of these to speak our language with PERFECT proficiency??maybe it is safer to assume there is like star trek a translator tech that is IMPERFECT because the syntax is foreign no matter how many times it heard the language??so MAYBE jar jar is not a dig at a certain race/skin colour of people??
another point within the two hour time limit of the movie there was not enough time to access Jar Jar's potential which was shown in clone wars YES HE WAS CLUMSY to the point of being funny and dangerous,HOWEVER he is seen having a connection to the natural world and a competent fighter with the rest of his race he is able to yes juggle for one thing(i know not a super skill) for the sake of distraction,able to communicate with wildlife to make getting through environments normally diffident for those he is with,mentioned earlier a competent fighter with the rest of his race on mon cala yes i know they got their butts jekin' handed to them but that doesn't negate their skills, Ironically Jar Jar is a good actor/impersonator to a certain extent,as shown on Bardotta might even have SOME minor force sensitivity(not sure about that one) even a semi able investigator. With all this how can you say oh this is a character I hate because HOW HE TALKS!!!!??
