I think she is trying to find good projects like this. I haven't seen all of her films but I enjoyed her performance in this one. I think it's my favorite role she has done and the story is endearing.

shareEvery young actress in Hollywood auditioned for Twilight INCLUDING Jennifer Lawrence. The director flew to the Adventureland set so she could audition (for 4 hours or something) and she got it. There was no way she knew how massive it was going to become and there was no way she knew the ridiculous backlash it was going to get.
She has been doing indies in between Twilight films and is filming 2 indies back to back this summer.

The books were insanely popular before the movies ever came out...
shareThey definitely had a following but after the first film came out it really blew up. Rob Pattinson had never heard of the books when he auditioned. The movie really ran it into overdrive and as we know just because a book sells a lot if doesn't mean a film will be successful. The Host and apparently, The Mortal Instruments are finding that out.
