I can honestly say...

... that I haven't seen anything quite like this before, a strange mix of Dick Tracey sets and vivid colours with West side story theatrics and style and Japanese theatre storytelling.I honestly expected the Red coats to suddenly start clicking their fingers and start fight-dancing during the fight in the square before the camp.I thought the theatrical way each scene was acted out really worked with the paper mache sets and I got the sense this was written almost to be a play rather than a movie. The acting overall was ok but I thought Demi Moore's character was so small that getting her for the role was a waste, Kevin McKidd was excellant and I honestly didn't twig it was him until the end credits. The masses will hate this movie and just say its ripping of Sin City' style but I thought it was an interesting film overall and as I said its certainly unique for a film with this sort of cast to be made these days.I'd give it 6/10.

It had potential, originality and a decent cast, but threw it all in the toilet.
6/10 for me as well.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

You may like a movie called "Tears of the Black Tiger". I often thought of that film while watching this one.
