Part 1 is Great The Rest Not So Much

Movie does a great job with historical research in Part 1...a great dismantling of religion...but once it becomes a truther and NWO expose it loses all the good faith it built up...not gonna go over all of it but a couple points...if it was a controlled demolition in NY then how come the collapses started at each of the impact sites...great piloting to know where to hit the buildings exactly? How come the plane impacts didn't immediately start the demolition charges or completely destroy them? Also who went out to Shanksville and carved the outline of a plane into the ground? And then with the banking segment...yeah guys that's how banking works we all know it...not a secret...the religion part was great though

Just caught this on NetFlix and was about to post almost the exact same review. What started out so good in the first section, became a muddled mess about (repeatedly debunked) 9/11 theories in the next one. The banking section was informative, but nothing new.

Actually part 1, while it is interesting, is full of sh!t. Most of the films dates/facts about certain gods/goddesses of Greek and Egyptian mythology are made up. Horus was not crucified according to myth, nowhere is that found. He was not born to a virgin, he was the son of Osiris and Isis. He was not a teacher at 12, he didn't have 12 disciples, and he certainly was not called the Lamb of God.

The films ideas about how 12 is sacred throughout the Bible ignores that many other numbers, like 3 or 2 are sacred as well, they don't point this out.

Basically, they got it wrong and fooled people who haven't had a background in historical research.

I don't understand why the narrator made such grand statements as if they're facts when they are just plain wrong. Why would they go through the trouble to produce this film with lies that easily verified as lies? And the movie's fans come to this forum to praise it. I've read in other places that the religion segment is grossly misrepresenting of ancient religions. Is there at least some controversy that can explain away the problems with Zeitgeist? Or is the whole first part of the movie pure nonsense?

reply

It's pure nonsense, but peopel rpefer to watch the movie and takeit at face value rather than checkthe facts for themselves. The Irony is, this is what Zeitgeist claims to fight agaisnt...

reply

lol, OP should have just said this...

"I was forced to go to church as a kid, but I don't go anymore. However, I'm still a FOX-Republican."

(My reasoning behind this... The first part was full of holes and stretched a lot of history. So it barely passed. I'd consider it 'entertainment', like FOX or MSNBC. The second and third parts, while stretching the truth, still had a good deal of evidence to support his claim. He was basically trying to say that they're still not revealing everything that happened on 9/11 and that Michels' Iron Law of Oligarchy is alive and well. So you can't think you're being objective if you accept Part I and denounce II and III.)

The Religion part was hardly the best part, at least in my eyes. All it did was give a visual and audio presentation that history, or belief in this case, is a natural phenomena human beings do. If anything, his first part pointed out that religion exists because human kind NEEDS it to exist, it is part of us just as breathing is necessary to live and water to drink. Everyone is using different gods and what not yet they are all talking about the same thing, the same concept of a game, whether hinduism, buddhism, judaism, whatever..

So really, the first part was obvious (before I watched this documentary) and dull and blah blah blah.

reply

I agree completely. In fact I came here to say the same thing, so I'll just +1 here lol.

Go to a museum and try to verify the religious part. Theyll look at you like your crazy because its *beep* THe artifacts blatantly contradict what the movie states. GO check for yourself. This is typical of disinformation to sandwich some truth with religious lies to further their new age religious agenda. I went to the rosicrucian museum in san francisco and i urge you not to trust everything you hear just cause it makes sense. RESEARCH ALL. peace.

ps. im going to just copy and past that paragraph i just wrote and start a topic cause im lazy lol and people need to know.

So You're a fan of deception and made up facts in first part cause You don't like religion but You don't like the parts that are more-less truthful? You got some problems man.

"great piloting to know where to hit the buildings exactly?"
Wheres the problem I don't understand ?
"How come the plane impacts didn't immediately start the demolition charges or completely destroy them?"
If the plane hit the spot it supposed to... hows that a problem ?
"Also who went out to Shanksville and carved the outline of a plane into the ground?"
Who stole the plane parts?

Most Christians tend to be bigots too, good call.

I actually felt the opposite way: the last 2 parts were great, and the first part just didn't relate to the last 2 parts. It was like 2 different topics with nothing that ties them together.
