Worst acting in the series

The acting in this film was so bad... did they intend to originally make this a movie for MTV? And the action/gore was too stylized to be scary, it came off campy (whereas the other movies had genuine terror from the realistic scenarios imo)

I didn't think the acting was that bad, but I'm not saying it was excelent. I believed it enough, and that's all that mattered to me (there were places that could have been done better). The deaths themselves are actually good, but they were filmed badly, and they were more realistic than the previous movies because they are loosely based on real events (not all of them are, but some of them are). Like I say, they got filmed badly.

This is my favorite FD movie, partly due to nostalgia goggles, but I understand why it wasn't liked. I think a lot of things were against the making of this movie, and I think if they had followed the script closer, it would have been a better movie. I still love it, but if I could remake it I would.

same here. I recently watched all 5 and wow

this one has the WORST acting. George was alright.. but everyone else needs lessons bad.

reply

Not just the worst acting - worst FD in the series.

reply

No one is worse than AJ Cooke reacting to Rory's death in 2, but these people were definitely the weakest overall

Uh, I thought that the worst acting in the series was by Devon Sawa.

But that's just me.

And if I'm being picky, Kerr Smith and Seann William Scott both acted badly.

reply

Kerr and Devon? Really? I'd rank those two among the best. I didn't think Seann was bad either

Emma Bell from 5 is probably the worst.

I agree with Scorpion, Devin and Kerr were great. I liked their conflicts in the first.
