I know must of TP's movies are unrealistic and have plot holes, etc... But I always enjoy them for their entertainment value. But the fact that Andrea wasn't smart enough to have her account at a separate financial institution drove me crazy!!!!!
shareOh, please. If she had opened the account at a different bank, it def. would have sent up a red flag that *even* Chris would have noticed. Have you all forgotten about those annoying bank statements that show up, faithfully, every month? and there's a way to be able to see any account joined under two names. I do it every month, unless I am at an ATM, then it only shows my checking and savings. When I'm in the bank, they ask which of the four accounts I want to draw from... So, it isn't that implausible

She could have still had another account at another bank & had the financial statements sent to a p. o. box address that Chris didn't have to know about. Like I said, Andrea wasn't too smart when it came to the bank thing & other things for that matter!
shareSure someone already stated this but purpose of her having account there was obviously for him 2 easily find out. Perhaps they could have went w/ it a different way by having her (private) bank call the house needing update info and the husband happen to be one to get the call.
But actually not really a plot hole just one of the many things this movie (like others) had to do to push the envelope. Another thing was with the secretary knowing about the secret affair ... she could have easily told the wife and or Andrea's husband prior to the party but it made for better effect to having her get drunk and blow it up in their faces.
