Plot hole

The killer is stabbed right in the heart in the beginning of the movie. Yet he's absolutely fine in the school scene in the gymnasium. Edit- After thinking about it, it must have been the other killer because he left the note right? Anyway, he was totally fine in the next scene.

I mean movie tropes aside, if you have to trick the audience by ignoring important continuity you are just lazy.
